Welcome to the Alameda Education Foundation’s After School Enrichment program! Our program offers hundreds of after school classes for students in grades TK – 8 in athletics, art/crafts, performing arts, math, science, technology, languages, writing and much more.

All of our exploratory art parties are taught by our qualified MOCHA staff. They will help you and your guests navigate through multiple hands-on art experiences. Art parties are for artists of all ages – choose your theme, date, and time and come get creative with us at MOCHA!

We bring traditional music to life through singing, dancing and revelry, in full period costume. Ages 7-12. An experience to remember!

Cantare helps children and adolescents find their voice by cultivating safe, supportive, fun, compassionate, and welcoming spaces where they experience the joy of music from diverse traditions through our multicultural curriculum. Our programs for young people bring the power and beauty of choral music to kindergarten through 12th grade students from underserved Oakland neighborhoods.

Camp Community Arts are held in a supportive environment that uses process-based learning to introduce children to new, arts-based skills. Campers are provided individualized instruction, feedback, and critique as students learn new techniques and expand their artistic repertoire. Students will learn about artists and techniques from around the world for inspiration as they produce their own process-based artworks.

Corner House Studio offers fun, fine-art inspired classes, workshops, and events for artists ages 4-11. Our studio is a space to learn, experiment, and grow creatively through painting, drawing, sculpture and more.

Joy in Motion (JiM) is a non-profit dance organization expanding access to the art form of dance through education and entertainment providing dance classes for ages 3 to adult as well as a few adult fitness classes.

Here at Dancing Paintbrush, we demonstrate a variety of methods and ways of making art to nurture artistic development. We also provide lessons on color theory and famous artists in art history, go on field trips, and host special guests to spark the creative process. We wholeheartedly encourage individual exploration of personal themes and interests.

Singing for the whole child! We sing songs of Earth stewardship, equity and belonging. Led by an award-winning, Waldorf-trained music educator and holistic counselor, this class helps children uncover their natural voices, make new friends, and step more fully into their power.

The structure of the Go Girls! day (9am-4pm) is designed to include the perfect balance of facilitated community building time, arts-based instructional time, and plenty of free play. Girls engage with drama/acting, visual arts, creative movement/dance, music, and media. We take time to play outside. We take time to relax and read. We take time to meditate, be mindful & journal.

Sonder Summer Camp is a fun and engaging activity-based camp designed to offer campers a memorable summer experience. Open to all students, from any school, entering K-8th grade. Our campers are granted the rare ability to choose the weeks and times that they want to attend.

Jam Camp West is a seven-day overnight music and dance camp in Loma Mar, CA, for ages 10-17, with world-class artists, outdoor activities, and lifelong friendships. All skill levels are welcome. $50 early bird discount by April 30 • Scholarships Available!

A 7-day overnight music, dance & vocal program in the redwoods of Northern California. Open to teens through seniors, with 120+ classes for all levels, daily performances, big band, combos, ensembles, songwriting, theory, and more—led by an all-star faculty.

Participants explore techniques to promote mental and emotional well-being. Including breathing techniques, mindful arts and crafts, chanting, fundamental Yoga postures, and a gratitude practice. Campers will spend half the day on water learning the basics of kayaking.

Open Studio is a space where artists of all ages create, share and connect through art. Artists are free to explore whatever captivates their interest. MOCHA artists are available to help locate materials, provide technical instruction, and suggest age appropriate activities.

Art Camps are innovative, hands-on, arts experiences for children and youth (K-8). MOCHA Campers work on a variety of engaging projects based on daily/weekly topics that foster an environment where play, creativity, innovation, and exploration is validated through making art.

This vibrant DIY community space fosters creativity through engaging music and art classes, along with enriching summer camps. Volunteers cultivate a welcoming environment, empowering individuals to explore their artistic passions and connect with others.

At Ace, we provide a loving, supportive, and professional environment which fosters dancers’ growth as artists and as people. Our mission is to inspire dancers of all ages to live with confidence, integrity, compassion, and excellence. Ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop for ages 3-17.
