Corner House Studio Art Programs

Corner House Studio Kids Art Programs offers studio art classes where kids spend time drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and other kinds of making. The program also includes movement and activities that focus on imagination. Kids create drawings, paintings, sculptures, collages, prints, and mixed media artworks while learning fine art fundamentals such as color mixing, composition, shading, and texture.

The program follows a mission of providing thoughtful instruction, exceptional materials, and creative freedom so kids make real art they’re proud of. Corner House Studio Kids Art Programs includes weekly studio art classes, school-break camps with single-day and short-break art camps on select school holidays, and summer art camps with screen-free days that include making, movement, and imagination. Classes and camps run in small groups with skilled teachers, and all levels are welcome. Kids practice studio habits including observing, persisting, developing craft, and exploring. According to the program’s description, every artist is welcomed regardless of experience level or “natural talent,” and children are met with warmth and respect by adults who love art and love kids.
