Higher Ground Youth & Family Services Summer Camp

Higher Ground Youth & Family Services Summer Camp is part of a family resource center that offers youth mentorship, family and community development, workforce development, mental health and wellness, and human trafficking prevention programs. The organization has provided over 1.3 million hours of youth mentorship and over 23,000 hours of human trafficking prevention workshops. It has also offered over 6,000 hours of workforce development trainings and over $4.3 million in free academic tutoring.

Higher Ground Youth & Family Services was founded in 2013 as a family resource center. Its mission is to engage, educate, equip, and empower youth and families in under-resourced communities by expanding purpose and possibilities, fostering resilience, building meaningful connections, and creating foundations for lasting success. The organization has provided over $4.5 million of free mental health services and served over 600,000 meals. Higher Ground Youth & Family Services partners with the Anaheim Union High School District, as reflected in a testimonial from Superintendent Mike Matasuda, who states that Higher Ground has earned great community trust.
