Youth Rec League is a winter season program with 20 ice slots. It is open to players of all ages and ability levels, with 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U/17U age groups.

About the provider
The program requires full equipment, neck protection for all youth programs beginning June 2024, and 2026-2027 USA Hockey membership. Youth programs are recognized as a Model Club Association through USA Hockey and follow USA Hockey's American Development Model for age-specific skill development. The program states that it provides an alternative to play the game within the community and have fun while doing it, and that it focuses on learning the fundamentals of hockey, respecting, and having fun while playing hockey.
All 6U & 8U games will be modified 1/2 ice or cross-ice. The Rinks staff coaching. The Rinks and Great Park Ice reserve the right to adjust program formats as needed to ensure the best and safest environment for guests, families, and staff.
