YMCA Camp Arbolado offers activities such as Arts & Crafts, archery, games, hiking, canoeing at the lake, swimming, mountain biking, and a ropes course. Campers also take part in an evening campfire and special events and meals as part of the program.

YMCA Camp Arbolado was established in 1925 in the San Gorgonio Wilderness and has been at its present 16-acre location since 1932. YMCA camping for this organization started in the Big Tujunga area and later moved to Barton Flats in 1920, and YMCA Camp Arbolado has made a positive difference in the lives of countless youth and adults for over 80 years. During all Kids Sessions, a Medical Technician is always working and living on-site. The Executive Director of YMCA Camp Arbolado is Suman Rana. Lions Lodge at YMCA Camp Arbolado was a gift from the Whittier Host Lions Club, and generations and different outside groups across the decades have left plaques on its interior rafters and walls. YMCA Camp Arbolado is described as a year-round wilderness retreat that has brought and created friends together for exceptional outdoor experiences since 1925.
