YMCA Camp Arbolado offers activities such as Arts & Crafts, archery, games, hiking, canoeing at the lake, swimming, mountain biking, a ropes course, evening campfires, special events and meals, and ping-pong. Campers also have access to a projector for group activities or presentations.

YMCA Camp Arbolado was established in 1925 in the San Gorgonio Wilderness and was moved in 1932 to its present-day 16-acre location, and it has made a positive difference in the lives of youth and adults for over 80 years. During all Kids Sessions, a Medical Technician is always working and living on-site. The Executive Director of YMCA Camp Arbolado is Suman Rana. YMCA Camp Arbolado is part of the YMCA of Greater Whittier, which is part of the YMCA, the largest nonprofit community service organization in the United States. Lions Lodge at the camp was a gift from the Whittier Host Lions Club and is described as a living museum with plaques adorning the interior rafters and walls, including plaques left by generations and outside groups. Groups may bring their own food and use the kitchen facilities under camp staff supervision.
