Aptos Soccer Club offers recreational soccer and competitive soccer for youth players. The program includes fall and spring recreational soccer leagues and a competitive soccer program that joined with the Santa Cruz County Breakers in 2024 to form Santa Cruz United FC, described as the county's largest competitive soccer club.

Founded in 1981, Aptos Soccer Club has been operating for over 40 years. The club is a volunteer-run youth soccer organization and a 501c3 nonprofit, run entirely by unpaid volunteers. The mission of Aptos Soccer Club is to develop, promote, and administer the game of soccer among youth boys and girls without regard to race, creed, gender, ability, or economic advantage. The recreational soccer program provides affordable, fun soccer environments for hundreds of girls and boys aged 4 to 14, and aims to help players develop soccer skills in a fun nurturing environment, make new friends, and build a life-long love for the game. The competitive program is for girls and boys aged 7 through 18 who want to advance their soccer skills in a competitive team environment. Aptos Soccer Club focuses on developing players' skills, sportsmanship, and love for the game in South Santa Cruz County and is run by volunteers who are passionate about making youth sports available to the kids of Aptos, CA, and neighboring communities. The leadership team includes Nick de Sieyes (President), Gary Nelson (Treasurer), Kelly Palandrani (Secretary), Simon Titen (Director of Coaching), Laura Mottram (At Large), and Chris Spencer (At Large). The annual general meeting of the Aptos Soccer Club board of directors will be in February 2026, with the exact date to be determined, at Seascape Golf Club.
