Aptos Soccer Club offers both recreational soccer and competitive soccer for youth players. The program includes recreational soccer leagues in fall and spring, as well as a competitive soccer program.

Founded in 1981, Aptos Soccer Club is a volunteer-run youth soccer club in South Santa Cruz County. The club offers a recreational program for girls and boys aged 4 to 14 and a competitive program for girls and boys aged 7 through 18. Its mission is to develop, promote, and administer the game of soccer among youth boys and girls without regard to race, creed, gender, ability, or economic advantage. The organization is a 501c3 nonprofit run entirely by unpaid volunteers and focuses on developing players' skills, sportsmanship, and love for the game in affordable, fun soccer environments. In 2024, the competitive programs of Aptos Soccer Club and the Santa Cruz County Breakers joined permanently to form Santa Cruz United FC. The club aims to help players develop soccer skills in a fun nurturing environment, make new friends, and build a life-long love for the game. The leadership team includes Nick de Sieyes (President), Gary Nelson (Treasurer), Kelly Palandrani (Secretary), Simon Titen (Director of Coaching), and board members at large Laura Mottram and Chris Spencer. An annual general meeting of the board of directors will be held in February 2026, with the exact date to be determined.
