Healing Pastures @ C Horse Ranch offers English and Western horseback riding lessons for all ages in both group and individual formats, including lessons for people with special needs. The program also offers animal-assisted psychotherapy, talk and animal therapy, and opportunities for volunteering to help care for animals and support programs. Additional activities include birthday parties, Family Fun Days, Winter, Spring Break, and Summer Horse Camps, adult and school field trips, and horse boarding.

Healing Pastures @ C Horse Ranch has been providing riding since 1992 and was founded in 2013 by Honey Cowan. The leadership team includes Owner/Founder Honey Cowan, Ranch Manager Stefan Cowan, Ranch Hand and Instructor Malachi Cowan, Instructor Sharon Allison, and Programs Manager Lindsay Gunderson. Animal-assisted psychotherapy and talk and animal therapy are provided by Honey Cowan, LMFT #23590. The organization states that its mission is to rescue animals so they can rescue people and to provide equine, animal, and agricultural related wellness services to people with special and individual needs to facilitate courage, confidence, and caring. Healing Pastures @ C Horse Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a certified vendor for home schools, and is a Certified Riding Center for Girl Scouts.

The ranch includes a garden dedicated to the Placer County Inner Faith Food Closet and is described as a private facility that maintains the safety and privacy of clients. The program offers equine therapy to improve physical and mental wellbeing, and programs that are designed to help participants connect with nature. Most major insurance is accepted for talk and animal therapy. The organization states that it is always looking for volunteers to help care for animals and support its programs.
