Benicia Ballet School

Benicia Ballet School offers dance instruction for children and teens. Students take part in dance productions and have performance opportunities during the year. Benicia Ballet, Inc. operates as the school and is run separately from Benicia Ballet Theatre, which is a non-profit organization connected to the program.

• Price: Memberships start at a low annual fee of $25.00. Sponsorships range from $100.00 to $5,000.00.

Benicia Ballet Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established to support the performing aspects and outreach arm of the program. Every year, Benicia Ballet Theatre produces two dance productions. These shows feature the talents of Benicia Ballet students along with other local youth, ranging in age from 4 through 18, and may also include a few parent volunteers. Benicia Ballet Theatre has a variety of performances throughout the season for children aged 4–18. Benefits of membership include access to the ticket pre-sale for both performances at the membership level and can include complimentary tickets to performances.

The school provides dance instruction in a nurturing environment for all ages. Benicia Ballet Theatre supports and encourages local artists to develop their talents by providing non-discriminatory performance opportunities within the Benicia, Vallejo, and North and East Bay communities. Its dance productions serve local communities by making cultural activities open, affordable, and accessible to residents and visitors to the area. The purpose of Benicia Ballet Theatre is to provide charitable and educational programs with no political affiliations to local residents and visitors. Scholarships are offered based on need and, in some cases, merit.
