BORP Adaptive Sports & Recreation offers adaptive cycling, kayaking, fitness, adult sports, wheelchair rugby, and other activities such as adventures and outings. The program also includes special events like the Revolution Ride, Roll, & Stroll and the BORP Adaptive Sports Expo.

BORP Adaptive Sports & Recreation was founded in 1976 by people with disabilities. BORP’s mission is to empower individuals with mobility and vision disabilities through adaptive athletic and outdoor programs that build independence, health, and community. BORP’s roots are in Berkeley, and its programs now extend across the Bay Area with regular programs in San Francisco and San Jose. Virtual programs can be accessed from anywhere in the world. BORP is the Bay Area’s main provider of high-quality adaptive sports and recreation programs and supports youth and adults with mobility and vision disabilities, breaking down physical and financial barriers to recreation and community. BORP believes in community-led adaptive recreation programming to build strength and transform lives.
