Cal Sports Camps offers sport-specific camps across many sports, including baseball, basketball, crew, cross country, diving, field hockey, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball, and water polo. Camp activities in different sports include individual and group positional work, scrimmages, speed and agility sessions, college-level workouts in advanced camps, in-water training, dry-land conditioning, classroom content and discussions, stroke technique camps, and 9–18 holes of course play in golf. The CAL Diving Camp groups athletes by age and ability and focuses on dry-land stretching routines and technical work, and the California Swim Camp includes stroke technique work along with in-water and dry-land training.

Cal Baseball Camps offer the chance to work with the UC Berkeley Baseball program and include world-class instruction from the Cal Baseball staff, individual and group positional work, scrimmages, speed and agility sessions after advanced camps, college-level workouts in advanced camps, an official Cal T-shirt, and camp prizes. The stated goal at every Cal Baseball Camp is for every camper to take their game to the next level and create lasting friendships while having a good time. The stated goal at every Cal Football Camp is for every camper to take their game to the next level by working with top coaches and competing against top talent.

The CAL Diving Camp is designed for campers at any and all levels of diving, from beginner to advanced, and athletes are grouped by age and ability. Head Coach Nancy McDaniel designed the golf program for players of all levels ages 10–17 to improve their technical skills and confidence on the golf course, and full-day golf campers meet at the SCORING Zone for morning instruction at the practice facility and 9–18 holes of course play in the afternoon. The California Swim Camp offers stroke technique camps and includes in-water training, dry-land conditioning, and classroom content and discussions.

Cal Sports Camps lists a leadership and coaching group that includes Mark Madsen (Head Coach, Men’s Basketball), Charmin Smith (Head Coach, Women’s Basketball), Al Acosta (Head Coach, Women’s Crew), Scott Frandsen (Head Coach, Men’s Crew), Shellie Onstead (Head Coach, Women’s Field Hockey), Nancy McDaniel (Head Coach, Golf), Geralen Stack-Eaton (Head Coach, California women’s gymnastics team), Bryan Del Castillo (Camp Director, Gymnastics), Ned Webster (Head Coach, Men’s Lacrosse), Jennifer Wong (Head Coach, Women’s Lacrosse), Jack Clark (Head Coach, Men’s Rugby), Leonard Griffin (Men’s Soccer Head Coach), Neil McGuire (Head Women’s Soccer Coach), Ninemire leading Cal Bear Softball Camps, Kris Kwinta (Camp Director, Men’s Tennis), Jen Malcom (Camp Director, Volleyball), Meagan Owusu (Co-Director, Cal Beach Volleyball), Kirk Everist (Head Coach, Men’s Water Polo), and Coralie Simmons (Head Coach, Women’s Water Polo). Staff credentials noted for these camps include Mark Madsen being a two-time NBA champion with a college and professional coaching background, Charmin Smith being an award-winning coach, former professional player, and active board member, Al Acosta being a 5-time National Coach of the Year while leading Stanford’s women’s lightweight team, Scott Frandsen being a 3-time Olympian, and Shellie Onstead being a 2008 U.S. Olympic Assistant Coach and Cal Hall of Fame inductee. Additional credentials include Jack Clark leading his rugby teams to 24 National Championships in 15s and five National Championships in rugby 7s, Cal Women’s Swimming being Pac-12 Champions with a fifth conference title, Leonard Griffin being named Pac-12 Coach of the Year following the 2023 season, and Camp Director Bryan Del Castillo being a 2011 All-American for the California men’s gymnastics team and serving as an assistant coach for the Golden Bears for the 2022 season.

The UC Berkeley coaching staff runs the California Swim Camp, Head Coach Nancy McDaniel designed the golf program, Ninemire and her staff instruct all Cal Bear Softball Camps programs, Camp Director Kris Kwinta was named the Peter Wright Director of Men’s Tennis as head coach of the California men’s tennis program in fall 2021, Camp Director Jen Malcom is the Head Volleyball Coach at Cal Berkeley, Co-Director Meagan Owusu is the Cal Beach Volleyball Head Coach, Head Coach Kirk Everist leads the men’s water polo program, and Head Coach Coralie Simmons is in her seventh season as head coach of the women’s water polo program. Cal Sports Camps is a proud affiliate of US Sports Camps Inc., and Cal Athletics has entered into a three-year agreement with Nike and BSN SPORTS. Cal Sports Camps has opened enrollment for winter after a stated successful summer season.
