Founded in 1982, Camp Chrysalis aims to explore and learn, as well as to play and enjoy. The camp is known for its mentoring of young people and has a strong knit and caring community of learners. It is a welcoming community for non-binary campers and maintains a camper-to-staff ratio of better than 4:1. Campers bring their own sleeping bags, tents (optional), and personal gear, and they help with meal preparation and camp maintenance.
