Golden Key Piano School offers piano lessons with options for private or group instruction. The program also includes a Group Preparatory Piano Class and offers online lessons with flexible hours by appointment.

• Schedule: Class options Monday–Friday 2pm–7pm and Saturday 10am–4pm
Golden Key Piano School was established in 2003. Instruction is available for ages 5 through adults, and there is a Group Preparatory Piano Class for ages 3 and 4. All teachers are university trained musicians, and all teachers were trained based on a Russian teaching method. Families can choose from more than seven teachers, and it is possible to schedule private lessons for two or more family members at the same time. Royal Conservatory exam and Certificate of Merit Test preparation are available for all grades. The school offers optional formal recitals at least twice a year and arranges casual monthly performances at the school to prepare students for the formal recitals. Desk staff are available to assist during all teaching hours every day. The school states that it focuses on creativity and that love is the “Golden Key” in the learning process. Golden Key Piano School has been chosen as the Best of Berkeley in music lessons for the last 10 years and has won ten consecutive Best of Berkeley awards in Music Lessons since 2008.
