KIDS for the BAY Summer Camp includes activities such as exploring meadows and redwood groves, hiking along creeks, and going on nature walks. Campers take part in tide pooling, animal tracking, discovering insects in ponds, and watching river otters swimming, birds feeding, and turtles sunbathing in lakes. The program also includes discovering bay and ocean beaches, hands-on science investigations, environmental stewardship, nature games, art projects, team building activities, and games.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm, with flexible morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, plus optional after-camp care from 3:30–5:00pm
KIDS for the BAY Summer Camp offers Summer Camp sessions for youth ages 5–11, middle school Camp Ranger helpers ages 12–13, and high school Leaders in Training ages 14–17, with Junior Camp Leaders ages 16–17 hired in paid positions. Camp groups include campers, middle school Camp Ranger helpers, high school Leaders in Training, year-round Educators, Summer Camp Leaders, and Junior Camp Leaders, with a camper to staff ratio of 7:1 or less. Adventurers campers must be five years old by the first day of the camp session, and Explorers campers must be eight years old by the first day of the camp session. Parents drive their own campers for drop-off and pick-up at all locations, and buses for some field trips are provided by KIDS for the BAY. Early bird discounts, multiple-week discounts, sibling discounts, and scholarship spaces are available, and KIDS for the BAY will follow all city and county guidelines to ensure the health and safety of campers, staff, and families.
KIDS for the BAY has 32 years of impact and collaborates with teachers. All Camps are led by Year-Round KIDS for the BAY Educators who create an engaging, safe, fun, creative learning environment for every camper. The mission of KIDS for the BAY is to collaborate with teachers to connect students with nature, inspire environmental action, turn students on to science, and create lasting impact, and to help children find joy in connecting with nature, get children excited about learning hands-on science, inspire environmental action, and create a lasting impact.
