California Football Academy offers flag football, 7v7 passing, skills clinics, youth combines, and flag football tournaments, along with a Coaches vs. Referees game. The program also runs an Elite QB & RB Skills Camp for focused position work.

Founded in 2008 by experienced youth and high school coaches, California Football Academy has been committed to developing young athletes and growing the game of youth football in Contra Costa County. Its mission emphasizes fun, safety, and competition, with a focus on fundamentals, sportsmanship, leadership, character, confidence, and teamwork, and on balancing education and extracurricular activities. The program runs three seasons per year (spring, fall, and winter) of flag football for ages 4–17, with both competitive and recreational leagues, including coed flag football from Pre-K/Kindergarten through middle school and a competitive coed league with 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U divisions. It also offers all-girls flag football leagues for girls in 2nd grade through high school and a 7v7 passing league for ages 13–17. California Football Academy is partnered with NFL FLAG, which includes official jerseys, top-tier gameplay, and a path to elite competition, and it has a growing league in Oakley with more than 450 players. Additional features include a volunteer coaching program with both adult and junior coaches, Scholar Athlete recognition for players who achieve a 3.5 or higher GPA, a Championship Day at the end of the season, and flag football tournaments where teams compete for trophies, pride, and glory. The program is described as a football family and as one of the best youth flag football programs in Northern California.
