About

Bothe-Napa Valley State Park Summer Camps take place in a park that offers over 10 miles of hiking trails, spacious day-use areas for picnics and family outings, and a swimming pool that is usually open on weekends and holidays between Memorial Day and Labor Day with lifeguards on duty. Campers have access to overnight accommodations that include private cabins, yurts, and campsites for tent and RV camping, along with restrooms, drinking water, and wifi at the Visitor Center. The park setting includes redwoods, creeks, volcanic ash cliffs, and short walking access to a historic mill, as well as a Visitor Center with displays and a Native American Plant Garden.

• Price: Park entry fees: $10 per car / $8 Seniors / $4 ADA. Hike-in/Bike-in free. Swimming pool admission: $5 per person (children under 6 months of age are free).

The Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District operates Bothe-Napa Valley State Park and is authorized to protect and preserve natural areas, wildlife habitat, and other open space resources, and to plan, improve and operate a system of public parks, trails, outdoor recreational facilities, and outdoor science and conservation education programs. The Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District sponsors numerous outdoor community events and educational programming for youth. In November of 2006, Napa County voters approved Measure I establishing the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District. The park is operated by the Napa Open Space District, and visitors are asked to purchase firewood at the park to prevent the introduction of invasive insects and diseases. Wood campfires are again allowed at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park, with a notice that wood campfires will not be permitted after June 30, 2025, and propane fire pits and charcoal will be allowed for cooking. Public Safety Power Shutdowns may affect park showers and lighting, while other facilities remain open.
