Creative Arts Workshop offers classes in robotics, sewing, arts and crafts, music, jewelry, themed classes, and Fun & Games. The program also includes classes for younger children labeled as kinder and offers STEM-focused activities. Students may enroll in one or more classes.
• Ages: 4–13 years old
• Schedule: Camp runs July 6–17, 2026, with full-day and half-day class options.
• Price: TK/Kindergarten and Ready for 1st Grade enrollment fee is $150/week for a 3-hour class. Enrollment fees for students entering grades 1–8 are $50 per period per week, or $250 per week for a full week, or $500 for two full weeks of camp.
Creative Arts Workshop (CAW) is a community service program that has been in operation in Camarillo for 48 years and has been in operation for almost 50 years. It was originally chartered under the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Camarillo Branch and is now operating under STEM Grow's 501(c)(3). Registration opens March 7th, 2026, and class selections are offered for children who will be entering Transitional Kindergarten through eighth grade in the next fall school year.
Creative Arts Workshop (CAW) offers a variety of classes conducted by professionals and teachers in each area. Karen Allen has taught generations of children as a retired teacher in Pleasant Valley School District and has served as director of CAW for over 30 years. The program was developed to provide enrichment for children during their summer vacation, and its stated mission is that children will discover their unknown talents and expand their creative expression through challenging and exciting experiences.
