Creative Arts Workshop

Creative Arts Workshop offers summer camp classes, Kinder classes, robotics classes, sewing classes, arts and crafts classes, music classes, STEM classes, jewelry classes, and themed classes. The program runs weekdays, and summer camp classes are offered as full day, morning, or afternoon sessions.

At a glance

• Ages: 4–14 years old
• General schedule: CAW runs weekdays. Week #1 is July 6th-10th. Week #2 is July 13th-17th. Each week different sessions will be offered. Full Day: 9:00am-2:30pm, includes a 30 minute lunch break with Fun & Games. Morning: 9:00am-12:00pm. Afternoon: 12:30pm-2:30pm. Can choose to come for individual class periods.

About the provider

Creative Arts Workshop has been in operation in Camarillo for 48 years, and the about page says almost 50 years. Karen Allen has served as director of CAW for over 30 years. CAW is a community service program, and its mission statement says children will discover their unknown talents and expand their creative expression through challenging and exciting experiences, with the program developed to provide enrichment for children during their summer vacation.

Registration opens March 7th, 2026. Enrollment fee is $150/week for TK/Kindergarten and Ready for 1st Grade enrollment for a 3 hour class. Enrollment fees for students entering grades 1-8 is $50/period per week, or $250 per week for full week or $500 for two full weeks of camp. Cancellation policy: through June 30th full refund; July 1st-July 5th half of payment refunded; July 6th or later no refunds issued.
