Excel Taekwondo Center

Excel Taekwondo Center offers Tyke Kwon Do for ages 3-6, Youth Taekwondo for ages 7-12, and Teen & Adult Martial Arts for ages 13 and up. The children's programs include Taekwondo classes for ages 4-12, and the program notes that sparring drills are practiced.

• Tyke Kwon Do — 3-6 · Children's martial arts program. The foundation of the curriculum is life skills such as positive mental attitude, high goal-setting, perseverance, self-control, and confidence.
• Youth Taekwondo — 7-12
• Teen & Adult Martial Arts — 13+ · Teen and adult program focused on high-intensity fitness and real self-defense.
• Children's Programs — 4-12 · Children's programs that offer a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline.
• Adult Programs — 18+ · Adult programs.

About the provider

The mission statement says the program is committed to teaching the highest quality martial arts in an atmosphere of positive energy and respect. It also says the goal is to positively touch the lives of as many people as possible through the martial art of Taekwondo.

Month-to-month memberships are offered, as well as savings on longer plans. No previous experience is required. Classes are for all ability levels. The school states that students will not be 'fighting' anyone or getting hurt, though sparring drills are practiced.
