Golden Performing Arts Center (Golden PAC) Youth Theatre Workshops

Golden Performing Arts Center (Golden PAC) Youth Theatre Workshops offers Children's Theatre Workshops, an After-School Workshop, and a Summer Camp Production. The Children's Theatre Workshops and Summer Camp Production are for ages 6.5-15, and the After-School Workshop is for ages 6.5 and up. The Summer Camp Production includes production rehearsals, theater and camp games, and outdoor activities.

Programs

• Children's Theatre Workshops — 6.5-15 · Saturdays 11am-2pm or 2-5pm; some Wednesdays 4-6pm or 6-8pm · $925 · Fall workshop: September through January; Spring workshop: February through late May/early June. All enrollees are guaranteed a part regardless of prior training or experience.
• After-School Workshop — 6.5 and up · Fridays 4-6pm · $925 · Meets from mid-October through mid-March.
• Summer Camp Production — 6.5-15 · Monday through Friday, 6 weeks · $1,245 · Includes production rehearsals, theater and camp games, and fun outdoor activities. Meets mid-June through late-July.

About the provider

Golden PAC was established in Canoga Park in 1985. It is a non-profit organization with a mission of building self-esteem in young people through the performing arts. Its workshops are described as building confidence, skills, and lasting friendships in an environment of mutual respect, acceptance, and encouragement, and children and teens from the youth programs are often given the opportunity to perform in professional shows and appear as entertainment at charity and community events.
