Fire Glass Studio offers glass fusion art and kid’s crafts, along with glass art classes for both kids and adults at all skill levels. The program also includes a professional open lab program with space, tools, and professional expertise, as well as a Glass Art Studio-To-Go option that can bring the glass art program to groups or classrooms. Fire Glass Studio provides classes for private parties and corporate events, and offers special date-night glass art experiences at various restaurants.

Fire Glass Studio was founded in 2012 and has continued operating through at least 2026. The studio is recognized as the premier glass fusion art studio for kid’s crafts and adult glass art education in the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles area and continues to be one of the top offerings on Groupon, generally selling out offerings in days. It serves as the open lab home to many of the San Fernando Valley’s top glass artists and provides ongoing on-campus glass art curriculum at several local schools, as well as an after-school enrichment program for elementary students that introduces kids to glass fusion.
The leadership team includes founder and owner Michal Hasson, Business Director Amir Hasson, and instructors Alexander Geeves-Booth, Ruth Sussman, Marlene Rich, Joci Deaton, April Lilavois, Risa Leonard, and Jamie Leonardo. Michal’s goal is to inspire and share her passion for glass art with everyone, especially those who have yet to unlock their own creative side. Joci Deaton holds a BFA from the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, and Jamie graduated from San Diego State University with both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and teaches in the after-school enrichment program for elementary students.
