About

NorCal Flag Football is a flag football program. The program includes organized flag football activities for kids who want to play in a structured league format. Practices and games take place on the same day.

• Schedule: 1 day a week commitment on Sunday, with practices and games on the same day

NorCal Flag Football is Northern California’s longest-established league and was established in 2010. It services 8 cities in Northern California and is locally and family owned, with the founders and Board of Directors present at each league location. The league runs the largest playoff tournament in Northern California, involving 9 cities, over 240 teams, and about 2,000 kids playing.

The program states a mission of empowering and elevating youth by cultivating life principles and building life skills through teaching the fundamentals of flag football, and aims to encourage self expression and fresh experiences in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. NorCal Flag Football was the first league in its area to start all-girls divisions for every age. Each player receives team and individual pictures, a gift, a uniform, and flags, and there are two veteran referees on each field. Spring 2026 registration is available through a website powered by SportsEngine’s Sports Relationship Management software and governed by the NorCal Flag Football privacy policy.
