In 1970, a group of parents transformed Mid-County Baseball into Capitola-Soquel Little League. The mission is to offer the community a safe and fun environment for local kids to play the game they love. The league's executive board, general board, managers, and coaches are volunteers, and moms and dads help the coaches. Doctors and firefighters offer safety procedures, umpires come out for a nominal stipend, and the league works with local businesses and schools. The current CSLL Board of Directors includes the League President, Player Agent, and Umpire in Chief. The program is listed as a 2026 D39 11s Allstar Champion, a 2026 Majors TOC Champion, and a 2026 Minors TOC Champion.
