• Schedule: Opening Day Ceremonies on March 7th, with teams meeting at 7:45am for an 8:00am start time.
Back in 1970, a group of parents transformed Mid-County Baseball into Capitola-Soquel Little League, and the league has continued for over 45 years with ongoing community involvement in its facilities and program. The Capitola-Soquel Little League Board, including roles such as League President, Player Agent, and Umpire in Chief, leads the league. The league states that it offers the community a safe and fun environment for local kids to play baseball. With help from local businesses and schools, Capitola-Soquel Little League is described as one of the most popular leagues in District 39. The program also provides resources such as a League Age Calculator, “Is My Bat Legal?” information, “What is My Player's League Age?” guidance, coach and volunteer background checks, a manager selection process, and scorekeeping FAQs.
