Founded in 1981 by George and Pauline Miller, Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care remains family owned and operated by the Miller family. Kiddie Academy states that it has been shaping, fueling, and nurturing children’s natural curiosity for over 40 years. The program is driven to prepare children for life through its Life Essentials® curriculum, community commitment, and focus on education inside and outside the classroom.

All Kiddie Academy educators must meet or exceed state requirements for child care providers, including background clearance, education qualifications, and ongoing professional development. Each Kiddie Academy has secure entries, authorized pick-up procedures, cleaning protocols, and background checks for all staff, and follows Health EssentialsSM guidelines for health precautions and cleanliness. Employees are trained on health and safety protocols, and the organization focuses on benchmarking measures of excellence and proactively securing accreditation.

Kiddie Academy uses its proprietary Life Essentials® curriculum, which is focused on six key outcomes that prepare children for life. Education experts continuously enhance Life Essentials to best meet the needs of each child. Technology is incorporated as a supportive learning tool in a balanced way for learning activities such as science, literacy, and math content. The program also offers a summer camp program called CampVentures®.
