Clayton Valley Dance Academy

Clayton Valley Dance Academy offers dance training that includes warm-up, ballet technique, jazz and contemporary across-the-floor technique, and choreography combinations that include improvisation. Dancers take part in activities that include dance, competition, and performance opportunities. Choreography incorporates elements of contemporary, jazz, and hip hop styles to assess versatility and performance quality.

• Schedule: Company and Performance Auditions on Saturday, July 25, 2026, with sessions from 12:00pm–1:30pm for ages 5–9, 2:00pm–3:30pm for ages 10–13, and 4:00pm–5:30pm for ages 14+

Clayton Valley Dance Academy offers recreational classes, competition options, and performance opportunities. The Competition Company offers high-level training for dancers interested in competition and future opportunities in college dance programs and beyond, with dancers training multiple days per week, competing at 4–5 regional events, and participating in a national finals at the end of the season. The Performance Company is new for the 2026–2027 season and is described as a lighter-commitment option for dancers who want to experience competition. All levels are encouraged to audition, and auditions include warm-up, ballet technique, jazz/contemporary across-the-floor technique, and a choreography combination including improvisation.
