Crown Cove Aquatic Center Youth Camps

Crown Cove Aquatic Center Youth Camps include activities such as paddling, sailing, surfing, and team building instruction. The program also offers access to classes in canoeing, first aid, kayaking, safe boating, sailing, stand-up paddling, and surfing. Daily camp hours run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Ages: 7–16 years old
• Schedule: Five 5-day week sessions and one 3-day session running mid-June through late July, from 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

By partnering with California State Parks & Recreation and California Boating and Waterways, the Crown Cove Aquatic Center is able to offer classes in canoeing, first aid, kayaking, safe boating, sailing, stand-up paddling, and surfing. Southwestern Community College District, which is connected with the Crown Cove Aquatic Center, is the only public institution of higher education in southern San Diego County. Youth camps are described as fun and educational, with low instructor/camper ratios and limited space. After successfully registering, families must email a completed Parent Packet 2026 to [email protected], and a child’s registration is not finalized without this completed packet.
