The toddler through pre-k programs include many experiences such as science, art, socialization, language development, and weekly chapel on Wednesdays. The Child Development Program provides care and education for infants through pre-kindergarten age in a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and play. The program focuses on implementing necessary curriculum so children are ready for school while also encouraging creativity and play, and it emphasizes helping children learn about themselves and the world around them while nurturing social and interactive skills among peers.

Helping each child grow into the fundamentals of their faith and knowing they are beloved children of God is stated as central to who the program is. The program is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and families do not have to be Lutheran or Christian to attend, as all are welcome. Weekly chapel on Wednesdays is included for children from the twos through pre-k classes. The program has been in place as a ministry since 1973.

The staff are described as amazing, caring, and qualified teachers. Resurrection Child Development holds an Infant License (#010206066) and a Preschool License (#010210783). The broader community is described as welcoming, with friendly and diverse members, and worship services follow a general Lutheran order of service while including a range of songs from hymns to praise music, with all welcome to receive Holy Communion. The program community serves by reaching out through collections for local needs like food and clothing, offering the use of its facility to other nonprofit groups and organizations, and serving through a variety of volunteer opportunities.
