Resurrection Child Development

Resurrection Child Development offers half and full day care and programs for infants starting at 2 months through pre-kindergarten age. Toddler through pre-k programs include activities such as science, art, socialization, language development, and weekly chapel on Wednesdays for twos through pre-k. The child development program provides care and education for infants through pre-kindergarten age, with a focus on implementing curriculum, encouraging creativity and play, and helping children learn about themselves and the world around them.

This ministry has been in place since 1973. The program states that helping children grow into the fundamentals of their faith and knowing they are beloved children of God is central to who they are, with God’s love described as being at the heart of the program and curriculum accessible across denominations through age-appropriate themes and stories. Resurrection Child Development is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and families do not have to be Lutheran or Christian to attend, as all are welcome. The program describes its teachers as amazing, caring, and qualified, and notes a welcoming community with friendly and diverse members. It holds weekly chapel on Wednesdays and includes community involvement through collections for local needs like food and clothing, offering the use of its facility to other nonprofit groups and organizations, and a variety of volunteer opportunities.
