Daily activities also include art, science experiments, music, building challenges, reading, and drawing/coloring.

• Ages: 5–13 years old (children under 5 accepted if currently enrolled in TK)
• Schedule: Weekdays, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, with daily supervised swim time from 12:30–3:00 PM
• Price: Daily rate $70.00; full week $320.00; annual registration fee $25 per camper (January–December); a $40.00 discount coupon is issued for each child who attends a full week of Summer Camp, valid through December 31, 2026, non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not combinable with other promotions unless otherwise stated

Each camp day includes student drop-off and activity stations from 8:30–9:15 AM, indoor group games and activities from 9:15–10:15 AM, and outdoor activities such as hikes, trips to the park, or play yard from 10:15–11:15 AM. Campers have a morning snack from home from 11:15–11:25 AM, followed by on-site enrichment activities from 11:25 AM–12:05 PM and lunch from home from 12:10–12:30 PM. From 12:30–3:00 PM, campers prepare for and participate in supervised swim time, followed by an afternoon snack from home at 3:15 PM and indoor/outdoor activities from 3:30–4:20 PM, with 4:30 PM as the latest pickup time.

All campers participate in swim time every day, and a swim test is given to all campers on their first day. Certified lifeguards are present during the swim test, with one certified lifeguard in the water and another at the side of the pool, and the camper-to-lifeguard ratio on the pool deck is 6:1. Non-proficient swimmers wear life jackets during swim time, and a supply of life jackets is provided; parents may also send a Coast Guard approved life jacket from home (not a puddlejumper or air-filled floaties), which may be stored at the pool all week. If a camper chooses not to take a swim test, they must always wear a swim vest during swim time, and if a child does not swim, they sit quietly at tables on the pool deck and can read or use provided drawing/coloring supplies. Life vests are not used during swim lessons.

Families are asked to send campers in comfortable play clothes with closed-toe shoes and a swimsuit under their clothes that the child can manage independently. Campers bring a labeled backpack or small bag that fits in a 12" x 12" cubby, packed with lunch and 1–2 ready-to-eat snacks, a reusable water bottle, 1–2 towels, sunscreen, a hat and/or sunglasses, slip-on shoes for pool and restroom use, dry undergarments, and an optional life jacket. Toys, games, sports equipment, electronics, and phones are to be left at home.

Elk Grove Kids Camp is described as a safe, enriching kids camp for Elk Grove families that offers reliable care, happy kids, and stress-free breaks. The camp is designed around Elk Grove school calendars, track breaks, and holidays, and is described as affordable and high-quality care with experienced staff who understand the needs of Elk Grove families. The program operates as School Break Camps for elementary school students ages 5–13 and includes year-round supervised swim time.

The program holds Facility License Facility #344500712. Families receive a $40.00 swim lesson discount coupon per child for each full week of summer camp attendance, which can be used toward eligible group swim lessons offered by Sunshine Swim Center.
