About
Bambini Montessori Spanish Academy offers a Montessori program fully immersed in the Spanish language, with mixed-aged classrooms and hands-on experiences in an intentionally designed environment. The program includes grace and courtesy lessons and focuses on Spanish immersion, creativity, and child-led exploration within a warm, respectful, and engaging setting.
• Ages: 15 months–6 years old
Bambini Montessori Spanish Academy offers SchoolYear Programs that include Infant Care for children 3 to 18 months, a Toddlers Community for children 18 months to 3 years, and a Children’s House for children 3 to 5 years old. The program’s mission is to enrich children by strengthening all areas of their development in a comprehensive way in a safe and intentionally designed environment through a Montessori program fully immersed in the Spanish language. The program focuses on teaching respect, independence, appreciation of the environment, and emphasizes building independence, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning.
The leadership team includes Ms. Roo as Director and Ms. Villarreal as Assistant Director. Ms. Roo has over 20 years of experience directing Montessori preschools and daycare programs in Mexico and the United States, holds a degree in Child Development, and is a certified Montessori Guide through the North American Montessori Center (NAMC). Her philosophy blends Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf-inspired education, traditional early childhood learning, STEAM, art, creativity, nature, and child-led exploration. Ms. Villarreal is originally from Mexico, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education, is certified as a Montessori Guide through NAMC, and has more than 13 years of experience in early childhood education, including experience as a Spanish preschool teacher.
Parents are welcome to visit the program, help organize field trips, teach a topic of their interest, or read a book at story time. Testimonials from parents describe children attending from 18 months to 4 years old, note that home cooked meals are provided for lunch every day, and mention that staff such as Miss Cindy and Ms. Vianney are described as professional, knowledgeable, nurturing, loving, and patient. One parent reports that two daughters attended for several years and that preschool at Bambini was a great investment for their family.
