About

Encinitas Beach Kids includes beach safety and awareness, basic first aid, marine life education, water etiquette, body boarding, and group activities and games. The program is non-competitive and focuses on a supportive and inclusive atmosphere with fun-filled learning that includes safety, teamwork, and confidence building. Children are asked to wear a provided rashguard and bring a beach towel, bathing suit, sunscreen, and a small snack each day.

• Ages: 6–8 years old
• Schedule: The program is held Monday through Friday, with summer camp taking place starting June 15, 2026.

Encinitas Beach Kids has been operating for 14 years, with a stated focus on fun and safety and a proven track record of happy campers and satisfied parents. Seasoned, experienced instructors prioritize beach safety and awareness while teaching basic first aid and proper water etiquette. The mission of Beach Kids states that it is a non-competitive beach program in a relaxed, fun environment that emphasizes building a positive self-image, self-esteem, and self-confidence through supportive guidance and a variety of confidence-building activities.
