Little Groms Surf Camp offers surf camp for ages 5-8. The camp includes surfing, boogie boarding, and swimming, and campers are taught ocean safety, beach etiquette, proper surfing technique, rip currents, wave reading, surf etiquette, board control, tides, changing conditions, marine life respect, staying within designated safe areas, communication with instructors, and staying with the group. Campers must provide their own wetsuit, and surfboards and boogie boards are provided.
Programs
- Little Groms Surf Camp — Ages 5-8 · Monday through Friday; Morning Session 9:00 AM-12:00 PM; Afternoon Session 1:00 PM-4:00 PM · $475 per week
- After School Surf — AGES 5-8 · Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00 PM · $330 per session · After-school ocean classes at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas.
- Private Surf Lessons — Daily at 10 AM and 1 PM · $160 per session · Private one-on-one lesson is 2 hours. Small group lessons are $140 per person for 2 hours.
