Project Performer Productions (P3) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization funded primarily through tuition, ticket sales, and outside contributions. Its stated mission is to inspire young aspiring artists to share their individual voice, explore their passion for performing, and build character and confidence through quality, community-based theatre. P3 focuses on family-focused and character-building musicals and plays and collaborates with top industry artists on live theatrical experiences. It offers a scholarship program for aspiring performers with financial need and encourages families to support theater education and performing arts scholarships by adding the organization as an AmazonSmile chosen non-profit.
The program is led by owner Kayla Schaffroth. One parent of a 10-year-old describes seeing significant improvement in their child’s singing after a couple of months and notes that the performers enjoy learning and performing there. Another parent with children ages 10 and 14 reports that their kids attend acting, singing, and dance instruction and feel that their individual talents and strengths are nurtured. A parent of a 10-year-old with prior dance experience shares that Project Performer has been a positive experience for expanding into acting and singing, mentioning small class sizes and individual attention. Another parent of 10- and 15-year-old dancers reports that their children have taken dance, ballet, jazz, and music theatre classes there and describes the studio environment and the influence of Miss Kayla in positive terms.
