Youth Programs are offered through Rancho Coastal Humane Society (RCHS), a homegrown, private, nonprofit organization that focuses on the care of animals and the people who love them. The programs take place within the broader work of RCHS, which rescues, shelters and adopts more than a thousand companion animals annually and offers education programs for children and teens.
• Schedule: Adoption and shelter hours are generally available most days between 11 AM and 4 PM, with Tuesday closed and some days limited to adoption hours only.
Rancho Coastal Humane Society is dedicated to the care of animals and the people who love them. The organization serves the San Diego County community with education programs for children and teens and offers emergency assistance for pet parents in crisis. RCHS also operates a Thrift Shop that is open every day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and exists thanks to the loyalty and generosity of donors and hundreds of volunteers.
