Escondido Combat Academy Kids Programs offers activities that include No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, MMA, Wrestling, Strength & Conditioning, Yoga, a Kids ABCs program, Youth Jiu Jitsu, and Youth Boxing/Kickboxing. The kids program includes ABCs Youth Development, Youth Jiu Jitsu, and Youth Boxing/Kickboxing as part of its youth training options.

The academy’s mission is to create a welcoming martial arts academy where students of all ages and experience levels feel safe, supported, challenged, and empowered to grow mentally, physically, and emotionally. The kids program is described as teaching discipline, respect, confidence, and focus while keeping classes fun, with age-appropriate curriculum and expert coaching for ages 3–13. The environment is described as beginner-friendly, family-friendly, and built to be supportive, positive, and motivating, with real self-defense training focused on real-world situations and without intimidation, ego, or gym politics. Morning, evening, and weekend classes are available, and introductory classes and a $25 Unlimited Day Pass are offered.
The leadership team includes Coach Dom Chisem (Owner, Head Coach, No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, with over 15 years of MMA experience), Ms. Harmony Albarran (Kids Programs, Admin), Coach Jen Chisem (Owner, Strength & Conditioning, Kids Programs), Coach Jon Cerna (Kids Programs), Coach Colin Lauterbach (No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, Kids Programs, Wrestling, Muay Thai), Coach Ashley Sargent (No-Gi Jiu Jitsu, Women’s Self-Defense), Coach Kyle Chambers (No-Gi Jiu Jitsu), Coach Rich Sargent (No-Gi Jiu Jitsu), Coach Isaac Mwereru (Kickboxing), and Coach Esteban Gonzalez Alvarez (Kickboxing, Muay Thai). Coach Jen Chisem is noted as a strength and conditioning specialist.
