Scorpius Martial Arts offers martial arts training that includes Korean karate Tang Soo Do, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, kick boxing, kids classes, women’s self-defense, self-defense, sparring (kumite), weightlifting, yoga, and private lessons by appointment. • Price: $150 New Student Registration, Karate Uniform and 1st Month; $125/Month Unlimited Tang Soo Do or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu; $150/Month Unlimited Tang Soo Do and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

According to the program’s staff information, Judi Hawley is a third-degree black belt Tang Soo Do instructor with over 25 years of training and 20 years of teaching experience, is a certified yoga instructor, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on teaching physical education, having graduated magna cum laude. Cyrus Martinez has a 2nd-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and more than 8 years of experience assisting and teaching Tang Soo Do, and Brandon “Coach Falcon” Kendall is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor and purple belt from Zenith Jiu Jitsu with over 12 years of experience. New Student Registration includes a karate uniform.
