About
Escondido Community Child Development Center Children’s Services offers early learning and family support services through licensed, state-funded, and Federal partnership child development centers. The program includes quality early learning education, nutritious food, inclusion support services, and family support services. All food is prepared onsite following USDA guidelines for Child and Adult Care Food Programs, and resource lists and information are available for families who need additional help.
• Ages: 0–5 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours
All preschool sites in this program are licensed by the California Department of Social Services Community License Division. All teachers in the program hold a valid California Teaching Permit. The mission of Escondido Community Child Development Center Children’s Services is to provide quality early learning and family support services within the Escondido community for children 4 months to 5 years of age through licensed, state-funded, and Federal partnership child development centers.
The leadership team includes Sara Gibbs (Executive Director), Danielle Rush (Director of HR & Operations), Cynthia De Dios (Program Director), Krista Darr (Finance Director), Patty Soto (Lead ERSEA Coordinator), Araceli Naranjo (ERSEA Coordinator), Brizette Diaz (ERSEA Coordinator), Liliana Torres (Developmental Coordinator), Mayte Linares (Intervention Specialist), Eunice Herrera (Site Supervisor), Nakita Parks (Assistant Site Supervisor), Anali Ramos (Site Receptionist), Julie Benavides (Site Receptionist), Monique Gapuz (Site Supervisor), Erika Parada (Assistant Site Supervisor), Margarita Hernandez (Site Receptionist), and Mariela Garcia (Site Receptionist). The program also offers a one-time donor option and a donor membership program that includes recognition for donor support, an annual logo gift, art from the children, special event notifications, newsletter access, and tour opportunities.
Parent feedback about the program includes comments that teachers are very engaged with the students and that children are happy and excited to attend. Other parents report that the program has helped their families during difficult times and that staff are very kind and caring.
