• Price: Tutoring is a free in-home educational outreach program with free tutoring provided by bilingual volunteers.

Bilingual volunteers from the University of California, Santa Cruz provide the tutoring. The program is a project of the Center for Farmworker Families, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to education, advocacy, and support for farmworker families. Beginning in Fall 2016, CFF Tutoring also began aiming to provide free educational outreach programs to parents of farmworker families, including the listed workshops. The leadership team includes Julio Molina (CFF Admin Assistant/Slug Tutor Coordinator), Dr. Ann López (Director of CFF), Dolores Huerta (Civil Rights Activist), Mireya Gómez-Contreras (Co-Leader of Esperanza Community Farms), Adam Bolaños Scow (leader of the Campaign for Organic and Regenerative Agriculture), and Kevin Heuer (Director of Engagement & Impact for the Community Foundation Santa Cruz County). CFF Tutoring is described as a community organization project meant to provide educational outreach services to the community, and the Center for Farmworker Families participates in events and gatherings with community members, including fundraisers and community discussions. One testimonial states that the CFF Tutoring project is meant to be a bridge providing farmworker families a strong educational foundation in academic tutoring and knowledge of farmworker rights.
