The USA Football National Team Development Program is a pathway where flag football athletes train, compete, and take part in evaluation. The program includes camp, combine, and game settings where athletes can showcase their skills in front of scouts and personnel. Select Team athletes continue to develop and showcase their growth within the National Team Development Program.

USA Football is the National Governing Body (NGB) for American Football in the United States and is the sole U.S. member of the International Federation of American Football (IFAF), the international governing body for the sport of American football. As a non-profit, USA Football delivers developmental and competitive programs for tackle and flag football and selects, trains, and leads the U.S. National Teams in tackle and flag football. The National Team Development Program identifies and develops athletes nationwide through a pathway of evaluation, training, and competition opportunities and is part of USA Football’s developmental pipeline for future U.S. Flag National Teams competing for TEAM USA FOOTBALL in elite competitions, including the Olympics. USA Football also assists football programs across the country and works with leaders in medicine, sport and child advocacy to promote and support safe, positive football experiences for athletes, parents, coaches and officials.
