Tri City Aikido offers Aikido classes for children and adults, including beginner kids Aikido for ages 4–6, Aikido for children ages 7–9, and Aikido for ages 10–13, as well as adult Aikido classes. The program includes empty hand applications, ground training, self-defense classes, and a complete curriculum of weapons training with sword, staff, and knife, along with weapons disarming. Training also includes Aikido sword (kenjitsu), Aikido staff (bojitsu), and Aikido knife (tanto) work, plus Aikido seminars and a free trial class with no charge or obligation.

Tri City Aikido Dojo is a traditional Japanese martial arts school that offers a unique training experience in the martial art of Aikido and offers non-competitive self defense training in a very friendly atmosphere. All training is done in a traditional Japanese setting, including culture such as language and etiquette, terminology, and philosophy, and the dojo offers programs for kids, teens, and adults. Tri City Aikido Dojo is a member of the Aikikai Foundation located in Tokyo, Japan, and its parent school is the Kumano Jyuku dojo in Shingu, Japan, with Tri City Aikido recognized as an official satellite school of the Kumano Jyuku dojo and described as one of the Bay Area’s top martial arts schools.
Anthony Campagna Sensei has led the charge at Tri City Aikido and holds the rank of Godan (5th-degree black belt) through the Aikikai. Tasaka Shihan, who holds the rank of Nanadan (7th degree black belt), is the head instructor at the Kumano Jyuku dojo and makes yearly visits to Tri City Aikido in Fremont CA. Hikitsuchi Sensei held the rank of Judan (10th degree black belt).
Tri City Aikido was established in 1996 and has been involved with the Fremont, Newark, and Union City areas for over 28 years. The dojo stays involved with its local communities and is proudly serving Milpitas, Fremont, Union City, Newark, Hayward, and nearby communities.
