Sunshine Kids Child Care Center offers a unique program for children that focuses on their growth and development to become independent, confident, and cheerful, equipped with basic cognitive skills for the next stage of schooling. The center provides a tidy, safe, and homely environment to preschool and afterschool students, supported by a highly qualified and experienced teaching force committed to provide care and education. It is not affiliated with the Sunshine Kids Foundation.
• Ages: 2–12 years old
• Price: During the Preschool Promotion (May 1st, 2024 to December 31st, 2024), any Sunshine parent who introduces a preschooler who enrolls for the preschool program will receive a $150 discount on tuition fees for the first three months; the new preschooler will receive free registration fee; any siblings enrolling in the preschool program will receive a 15% discount (instead of 10%) on tuition fees for one of the children.
Sunshine Kids Child Care Center was established in April 1996. It operates two different facilities, Preschool and Afterschool, in one of the most affluent and safe communities in the Bay Area. The preschool facility has about 5,000 square feet with an accompanying outside playground of 3,300 square feet, and the afterschool facility has a study area of about 6,700 square feet.
The center’s philosophy is to provide a caring, cheerful, supportive, and safe environment for all children to learn in, promoting their emotional, social, cognitive, intellectual, and physical growth. The program is based on the belief that every child is born with great potential and intelligence, as expressed by Dr. Howard Garden, Professor of Education at Harvard University. The stated role of the center is to provide each child an opportunity to facilitate the full development of their intelligence, including verbal-linguistic, logical-math, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, and intrapersonal intelligence. Its mission is to nurture the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth of children to become cheerful, confident, honest, diligent, sociable, and respectful individuals who would lead a harmonious life in a multicultural community, and to help them acquire the basic learning skills that will enable them to succeed in the next stage of schooling.

Sunshine Kids Child Care Center is inspected and licensed by the State of California Health Education and Welfare Agency (Community Care Licensing) as a licensed child care center. The school is located close to schools and parks, enabling a pick-up service to and from school.
