Live Oak Preschool

Live Oak Preschool is a non-profit preschool that emphasizes small class sizes that allow for plentiful teacher and student interaction. The program creates a fun and engaging learning environment with a focus on social-emotional development and hands-on learning experiences. Live Oak Preschool follows a philosophy of self-directed, play-based education.

Live Oak Preschool has been serving the community for over 45 years. The director of the school is Shirleyann Jennings. The program states that it is committed to meeting each unique child exactly where they are, with a focus on social-emotional development and hands-on learning experiences so that children gain the skills they need to become their most confident and resilient selves. Live Oak Preschool describes itself as more than just a school and refers to itself as a family. The preschool serves communities throughout northern Sonoma County, including Healdsburg, Windsor, Cloverdale, Santa Rosa, and beyond, and emphasizes communication within the Live Oak family and with the Sonoma County community as a whole.
