Hermosa Volleyball Academy Youth Class

Hermosa Volleyball Academy Youth Class offers a youth class for ages 10-15. Youth class sessions are synced with the adult classes, with the first 60-70 minutes grouped by skill level or paired with friends, and the last 20-30 minutes set aside for free play style games with occasional feedback.

About the provider

The program is a family-run business led by Dennis Collins, Patrick Mejia, Jesus Mejia, Kelly Collins, and Bryce. The team says it has over 40 years of history, with Patrick coaching for 24+ years, Dennis coaching volleyball for over 40 years, and Kelly playing volleyball in Hermosa for over two decades. The classes are described as engaging, social, and fun, with a focus on fundamental sand footwork, court coverage, and ball contact skills.

If you miss the first week of class, it’s okay to sign up and come out for week two; they’ll catch you up.
