Ocean View Academy Dual Immersion Spanish Program

Ocean View Academy Dual Immersion Spanish Program includes activities such as gymnastics, sports, projects, gardening, recycling, and time set aside for homework. All classrooms use a dual immersion Spanish approach, with children engaging in curriculum in both English and Spanish. The curriculum focuses on language arts and literacy, mathematics, social science and emotional development, and character education, and also includes the Zoo Phonics program and the Handwriting Without Tears program.

• Schedule: Centers are open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm with options for full time and part time care.

Ocean View Academy Dual Immersion Spanish Program offers enrichment programs such as gymnastics and sports provided by Funtime. The program has a catered lunch program from Healthy Kids, which provides homemade, healthy lunch options. The Hermosa location serves children ages 2–6 years old, and the Redondo location serves children 6 weeks–6 years old. Qualified and skilled teachers serve as facilitators in the course, guiding students through exploring and individual learning. The emergent curriculum combines Math, Language and Literacy Programs with kindergarten readiness activities that are based on early childhood standards from across the nation.
