Monarch Preschool is a nature-based enrichment program where children take part in gardening, tree climbing, and fruit and vegetable harvesting. The program includes nature-inspired art and literacy, science experiments, cooking up creations, nature-based discovery, sensory play, art, science, storytelling, and creative expression in an outdoor setting that uses the natural environment as the third teacher.

Monarch Preschool describes itself as a part-time, play-centered, play-based, and child-led outdoor program that focuses heavily on the natural landscape of the yard to give children a unique experience and connection with nature. The program is led by teacher Ms. Karen, also referred to as Miss Karen. Families receive daily pictures, updates, and messaging through the parent communication app ClassDojo.
