BA Soccer Academy is led by Georges Ba, a coach and mentor who is a former international professional soccer player and runs BA Soccer Academy. Coach Ba is certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid, and is currently licensed by the French Football Federation to coach at the youth team level, a designation equivalent to the UEFA License B Coaching Certification. His stated mission is to guide players to exceed their personal and team goals with purpose, education, sportsmanship, cultural awareness, focus, technical soccer skills, and physical development.
Coach Ba’s credentials include being Top League Goal Scorer in 2002 and again in 2012, French National Champion (Division 3), Vice Champion France (Ligue 2), Champion de la Reunion (D1P), holding the BEE1 Option Soccer French Coaching Certificate (UEFA License B), and FFF Fédération Française de Football License 075100039, as well as two selections for the Ivory Coast International Team. In addition to running BA Soccer Academy, he has served on the coaching staff for Strikers FC, the French Soccer Institute, Capistrano FC, and teams at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana and Northwood High School in Irvine.
