About

City of Irvine Camps, iCamps and Summer Experiences requires registration and payment for all courses unless noted otherwise, and confirmation receipts are emailed after each transaction. If a course is full, participants may be placed on a waitlist and must wait to be contacted before attending, and fees are not prorated for missed classes unless participants are enrolled from the waitlist after class begins. For many programs, parents must complete a Participant Permission & Medical Form, and enrollment in certain City programs is not possible without completing this online form.

• Price: The nonresident fee is an additional $5 per course priced $11 to $74; $10 for courses priced $75 and above. General Withdrawal Fee: Withdrawal requests are processed with a $5.00 withdrawal fee per transaction. Balances less than $5.00: If a withdrawal is for a class with a fee of less than $5.00, the total class fee will be assessed as the withdrawal fee. Aquatics: All withdrawal requests must be received in writing at least 10 days before the first day of the session and are subject to a $5.00 processing fee per participant, per class; requests received between one and nine days prior to the start date are processed less 50 percent of the enrollment fee; requests received on or after the start date are not eligible for refund. Camps: Requests received 7 days prior to the camp start date are processed less a $5 withdrawal fee per person, per transaction; requests received between one and 6 days prior to the start date are processed minus 50 percent of the enrollment fee; withdrawals are not permitted once camp begins. Leagues: Withdrawal requests are charged a $5.00 withdrawal fee per transaction; requests received between two and nine days prior to the start date are processed less 50 percent of the enrollment fee; requests received 24 hours before the start date are not eligible for refund. Classes with one to three session dates and tennis lessons: Requests must be received one week prior to the start date for a full refund (less withdrawal fee). Classes with four or more session dates: Requests must be received three days prior to the second class meeting for a full refund (less withdrawal fee). Classes with two or more meetings per week: Requests must be received by Monday of the second week of class for a full refund (less withdrawal fee). Excursions or Special Events: Withdrawals are not eligible for refunds. Tennis/Pickleball Camps and Classes: Withdrawal/Refund requests received at least 7 days before the first day of the camp or class are subject to a $5 processing fee per participant, per camp or class; Withdrawal/Refund requests that are received prior to the start of the 2nd day of the camp or class are processed less 50% of the enrollment fee.

All withdrawal requests and changes to registrations for iCamps and Summer Experiences during the week of service must be made via email through the site’s attendance email address provided with the registration paperwork, and changes must be made prior to 7 a.m. on the day of service. Any accommodation for iCamps and Summer Experiences made after 7 a.m. on the day of service is charged a $5 processing fee per participant, and participant-requested refunds are subject to the Withdrawal Guidelines. Credit card transactions are refunded to the original card used, cash and check transactions are refunded by check with a stated processing time of two to three weeks, and user account credit balances are reconciled by the City as a refund on a regular basis and may be refunded upon written customer request.
