City of Irvine Recreation Programs (Camps, iCamps, Summer Experiences, After School Programs, Leagues, Aquatics, Classes) requires registration and payment for all courses unless noted otherwise. Parents receive confirmation receipts by email after each transaction, and if a course is full and a child is placed on a waitlist, the family must wait to be contacted before the child attends. Parents must complete a Participant Permission & Medical Form, and the City requires emergency contact and essential medical information from each child for many programs.

• Price: Effective July 1, 2026, a 2.4% convenience fee will apply to all credit and debit card transactions. The nonresident fee is an additional $5 per course priced $11 to $74, and $10 for courses priced $75 and above. There is a $5.00 general withdrawal fee per transaction. Any accommodation made after 10 a.m. on the day of service for Kids Club will be charged a $5 processing fee per participant, and any accommodation made after 7 a.m. on the day of service for iCamps or Summer Experiences will be charged a $5 processing fee per participant. Aquatics withdrawal requests are subject to a $5.00 processing fee per participant, per class if received at least 10 days before the first day of the session; requests received between one and nine days prior to the start date are processed less 50 percent of the enrollment fee; requests received on or after the start date are not eligible for refund. Camps withdrawal requests received 7 days prior to the camp start date are processed less a $5 withdrawal fee per person, per transaction; requests received between one and 6 days prior to the start date are processed minus 50 percent of the enrollment fee; full refunds or credits are available when camps are canceled or changed by the City or Instructor. Leagues withdrawal requests are charged a $5.00 withdrawal fee per transaction; requests received between two and nine days prior to the start date are processed less 50 percent of the enrollment fee; requests received 24 hours before the start date are not eligible for refund. For classes with one to three session dates and tennis lessons, withdrawal requests must be received one week prior to the start date for a full refund, less the withdrawal fee. For classes with four or more session dates, requests must be received three days prior to the second class meeting for a full refund, less the withdrawal fee. For classes with two or more meetings per week, requests must be received by Monday of the second week of class for a full refund, less the withdrawal fee. Tennis/Pickleball Camps and Classes withdrawal or refund requests received at least 7 days before the first day of the camp or class are subject to a $5 processing fee per participant, per camp or class; withdrawal or refund requests received prior to the start of the second day of the camp or class are processed less 50 percent of the enrollment fee. Credit card transactions are refunded to the original card used, and cash and check transactions are refunded by check.

The mission of the City in establishing its Code of Conduct for these programs is to provide and maintain a safe environment where people can participate and play based on the principles of respect, restraint, safety, and responsibility. Patrons agree to abide by the City of Irvine Patron Code of Conduct each time they access City facilities, open spaces, or participate in City programs. Code of Conduct standards include demonstrating respect regardless of individual opinion for ethnicity, national origin, race, sexuality, age, disability, or religion; cooperating with law enforcement or other City officials to protect targets of offensive or inappropriate behavior; exhibiting care and concern for the safety and well-being of fellow citizens and a sense of community goodwill and citizenship; expressing and practicing civil behaviors that exemplify respect, restraint, and responsibility; and adhering to all posted signs.
