Up Your Performance Basketball offers Summer Basketball Camps, club teams for youth and high school players, private training, Friday Night Hoops sessions, a Skills Academy, HS / College Prep, Club / HS Prep, The CheckUp, and the Spencer Skills Lab. The program includes multi-day summer basketball camps for grades K–high school and uses custom and high-speed drills along with mental awareness activities. Coaches work on dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, moving without the ball, defense, and communication, using methods described as usable from beginners to professionals.

• Schedule: Training sessions available Monday–Friday afternoons and evenings, with additional Saturday daytime options and summer camp sessions in July 2026
Since 2019, Up Your Performance Basketball has operated as an Irvine basketball club that has worked with hundreds of local youth athletes, following an initial launch after Coach Carlos completed his college degree in 2017. Up Your Performance (UYP) is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit youth sports organization that states a mission of developing student-athletes across Orange County through elite basketball skills training, seasonal camps, and competitive club travel teams, with an emphasis on building character, elevating basketball IQ, and providing a development roadmap for serious athletes. The organization describes its approach as elite youth basketball training that builds real players and real people, with a focus on real development, mentorship, and results on and off the court, and states that it helps youth athletes from kindergarten to college grow in skill, confidence, and character.
The leadership team includes Founder Coach Carlos Jimenez, Club Director Coach Cory, FNH / Fast Break Girls Director Coach Malia, High School Club / Private Training Director Coach Toffic Dalou, and Director of Business Development Coach Jack Meadows. Staff credentials include coaches with professional playing experience in Spain, the Philippine Basketball Association, Iran, Australia, and international competition, as well as college playing and coaching experience at schools such as William Jessup, Concordia University Irvine, University of the Pacific, and California State University, Northridge. Several coaches have more than 10 years of coaching experience, backgrounds in kinesiology or physical education, and roles in high school programs, national teams, and summer camps. Up Your Performance states that it is proudly based in Irvine and Tustin, welcomes athletes from across Orange County, and is supported by community partners, with corporate sponsorships and donations generally described as tax-deductible.
