Aviation Summer Camp gives campers six hours of flight simulators, aviation-themed games, and interactive experiences. The program includes rigorous simulator training, expert-led workshops, chances to hear from aviation experts, and a tour of airport facilities. Campers also have a real flight opportunity as part of the experience.

Aviation Summer Camp was established in late 2007 as a premier summer camp to provide an enriching aviation experience for students with an interest in aviation. In 2012, the organization expanded its offerings to include its first robotics camp. The camp is now offered at multiple locations, including Fullerton, Flabob Airport in Riverside, and Long Beach, and is located at a premier aviation destination.
The program includes Airman Camp for aspiring aviators ages 9–15 and is described as a cure for summer boredom that can build confidence, offer chances to meet friends, and provide opportunities to hear from aviation experts and tour airport facilities. Campers learn topics ranging from the basics of aerodynamics to aircraft navigation and performance, and they delve into the physics of flight and engage with aviation technology. For teens with a strong interest in aviation, the Private Pilot Advanced Simulator Camp offers in-depth knowledge and hands-on practice for those considering a pilot certificate, and is described as a career-oriented summer experience.
The founder is a high school and college instructor with 30 years of experience. The leadership team includes Tom Sutfin, B.S., M.A., CFI, CFI-I, MEI. Additionally, the program may be able to offer partial scholarships for youngsters with a demonstrated need.
