Cal Heights Music offers private and group music lessons that include piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, vocals, violin, cello, viola, trumpet, flute, clarinet, trombone, saxophone, and recorder. The program also offers baby and toddler classes, music exploration, an indie band program, and summer camps.

Cal Heights Music was born in 2018 from the belief that learning music should be a magical experience for all ages and all levels. The program offers music lessons and classes for all ages and all levels, with private lessons individualized for each student. Group classes range from a Caregiver + Me program to an Indie Band Program for kids, teens, and adults. Cal Heights Music is described as a place where students and instructors can thrive musically in a fun and inspiring environment, with an emphasis on students learning at their own pace in a fun and engaging way. Cal Heights Music was honored with the 2023 Long Beach City College Shaun R. Lumachi Rising Star Award. The program uses the slogan “Music is Magic.”
