Long Beach Junior Crew Summer Rowing Camp includes on-water rowing, ergometer training, and on-water racing. The program also combines on-water and erg training, with racing included as part of the experience. Sessions feature a focus on technique, small group coaching, and video analysis.

Long Beach Junior Crew was re-launched in 1986 by founders Steve and Debbie Nowinski and has operated for nearly 40 years. The program reports a history of building national champions and college-bound athletes while keeping rowing accessible to youth across southern Los Angeles and north Orange County. The camp is coached by past national and international champions.
