Los Altos Youth Baseball and Softball offers youth baseball and youth softball. The program includes a 2025 Winter Development Program and a BABE RUTH (Ages 13-14) Spring 2026 registration option, along with access to a 2023 LAYBS digital yearbook for download.

LAYBS states that it is committed to providing every youth in the community the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of youth baseball and softball in a safe, family oriented and educational environment. The program states that each child will be taught the qualities of good sportsmanship, a sense of fair play, respect for the game and how to compete with class. LAYBS states that it is committed to the safety and wellbeing of players, parents and fans, and that there are guidelines put forth by the City of Long Beach in regards to participation in youth sports, as well as additional guidelines that focus on the program and facility at El Dorado Park. The league has gone through a training with the City of Long Beach and has been granted permits to continue its softball and baseball program.
